That's DR. Knight, Thank You

Titans help the poor soul who accidentally calls Dr. Maxwell Knight, Professor. Dr. Knight is very proud to be a licensed medical professional as well as an instructor and is quick to correct anyone who neglects to acknowledge his credentials. Although still a full-time professor, Dr. Knight also operates a clinic in Kamari where he juggles his teaching duties with providing medical care to the surrounding community. Oftentimes spotted rushing around campus with blood still on his lab coat from a surgical procedure, Dr. Knight strikes an imposing figure and is the focus of more than one tall tale spread by upper-year students to scare freshmen.

Tall Tales of the Despicable Dr. Knight

Are any of the following stories true? That remains yet to be evidenced. But students sure do love to spread these rumours around, especially to fresh-faced first years.

1. The Mad Doctor

It is said that Dr. Knight secrets away the organs used for class dissections. You might ask, but what would he ever do with those? Students whisper that Dr. Knight is working on an experiment, trying to recreate a living being from its parts. Javenesh Stoutclaw swears that one night last year, he saw Dr. Knight leaving the labs late. Javenesh was just finishing the closing shift at The Tooth and Talon Tavern and was locking up for the night when he saw Dr. Knight rush by with a shifty look in his eye and one hand in his lab coat, holding something protectively.

2. Living Dissections

Some senior students from Dr. Knight's Applied Surgery Lab started a rumour that not all of the cadavers in their lab were fully dead. One of the students claimed that they saw the fingers twitch and an eye open to look at them, mid-cut. When asked if they confronted Dr. Knight about it, the students refused to comment. Some speculate that Dr. Knight puts hard-to-treat cases into a coma and sneaks them from his clinic into the dissection lab.

3. Undercover Spy

There are a few students who strongly believe that Dr. Knight is not actually a doctor at all. These students postulate that Dr. Knight's trips into the city are secretly trips to The Xerniko Guild's base in The Estelari Empire where Dr. Knight's real career lies. Why lie? Because Dr. Knight's position at F.L.A.M.E. is a cover for a secret mission from the guilds. What information is he here to gather? Is something nefarious happening on the campus? No one knows, but it's certainly fun to think about.
