Uthred Lundall
King Uthred, (or Saint Uthred), was the final king of Orwicce. The lonely monarch was rarely called king and imposed his title upon none, by all accounts, he was one of his people
and symbolically he was also the last of them. On his death in 1032 MH, he left the entirety of his lands to the Papal State and bade them settle the meagre few remaining Orkings in lands of their choosing.
As part
of the ceremony in 1100 MH opening of the Bishopric of Orwicce he was officially canonised as Saint Uthred, although he remained ubiquitously known as Uthred Lundall the last of his line and securing it in the memories of
the West for eternity.
