Firstborn son of House Spencer, Elias AldΓ©ric Gaultier de Spencer led the life of a dutiful son of a minor house, and worked to become a suitable heir for the mercantile family. As he grew, the needs of the Dragonsong War demanded more support from each lower house, and he was sent into the ranks of the Congregation of Our Knights Most Heavenly. There, he flourished as a page, then as a squire, and finally as a full-fledged Temple Knight.
When his house fell, he became more reliant upon his station with the Church, vowing to himself not to become a further smear upon his family's name. He now resides in The Brume alongside his recently adopted ward, Celestine.
