Nestled in a now half-frozen swathe of land that straddles part of the river running between the southern part of the Coerthas Central Highlands and the North Shroud, House Chastelaine's ancestral farmstead and rangeland is their primary livelihood. They employ an informal household staff and a cooperative of farmhands, herdsmen, and tradesmen at the steading.
