House Faepoix

The Faepoix family's primary residence is their ancestral home in the Pillars. They also own a modest summer home in Coerthas, though it has largely fallen into disuse since the Calamity.

The current head of the household specializes in midwifery, while his siblings have expertise in other medical fields. Most notably, his brother Ferdinand specializes in prosthetics that totally are not stolen goblin tech .Despite these specializations, being a chirurgeon in a city-state with a thousand-year history of war brings the expectation of a broad scope of practice, lending to them many of them being skilled in both general and trauma care.

Their youngest daughter, Maeva, is a skilled Portraiture artist who is known to have many of her works hanging above mantles in the Pillars.

   The house overall has a more traditional leaning, however,  internal discourse arises as some of the younger members of the family adopt more reformist views.

   Well respected family. Known for their skill in healing arts. Probably delivered most of the babies of Ishgardian nobles over the last 500 years.

Benoit de Faepoix

Head of House, Chirugeon
Current head of the Faepoix family. An accomplished chirugeon. A man of few words. Cold, collected, and fiercely invested in the continued success of his house.

Anaïs de Faepoix

Lady of the House, Doula
Current matriarch of the Faepoix Household. Known to assist her husband with midwifery as well as manage the Faepoix estate. 
Warm, kind, and slightly informal. Known to be a talker. She loves her family deeply and wears her heart on her sleeve.

Cyril de Faepoix

Eldest Son, Chirugeon
Oldest son of the Faepoix household, next in line for leadership. Married to Clara and has two daughters.
Uppity, though skilled at masking it behind backhanded compliments. Holds deeply prejudiced views. Racist Keebler Elf.

Cuivre

The family Chocobo. Originally a 14th birthday gift for their middle son, Ottilie. Cuivre joined him in battle during his time in the knights. Now that Ottilie is no longer of this world, she has become more of a family pet.

Faithful lady's maid to Anïas de Faepoix. Stoic and impassive. Always gets the job done.

Ottilie de Faepoix: deceased Temple Knight

Felled in battle against a dragon, the middle son of the Faepoix household was honored with a burial befitting his station. But the knight laid to rest was not Ottilie. In truth, he had been forced to drink the dragon’s blood, changing him into a monstrosity stuck between dragon and man. 

Desperate and changed, he turned to his father for help—only to be met with cold rejection. Benoit, ever mindful of the family's standing, saw only the risk Ottilie posed. To protect the Faepoix name, he disowned his son and ordered him to leave Ishgard, ensuring that no one would ever know the truth.

To this day, Benoit has kept the secret buried, and the Faepoix family remains unaware that Ottilie still walks the world, and worse—he's returned home.
