When any detect spell or spell like ability is used by whoever is wearing this monocle, the results of the detection are visible as an aura commensurate to the power of the detect spell used. For example, the first round of detect evil would show a faint aura of evil in the whole area if evil is detected, the 2nd round would have the aura get stronger depending on the strength of evil around, and the third round would have the aura conglomerate around the evil locations in proportion to their strength. Knowledge imparted to the caster that is not visible as an aura (# of creatures, specific info, etc) is not included in the aura.
