The obligatory tavern brawl

Strategically retreating up the stairs to reach more group members, Adrian tries to figure out where to go since all the windows are bared. He calls out for the others to help while the guards hunt after him. He opens the portal to the Drakes dimension home. Hearing the call, Irdien sends her mechanical spiders in an attempt to aid, but since Adrain has exited through the temporal doorway, the spiders can't find him. She runs down the stairs and sees the guards. She threw a knife at their Captain, but it just misses, gracing his face with the handle. The guard closes to the portal throws his axe after Adrian but misses. Labrat runs up to the Captain and hits him with the sword, but his armor is spiky and cuts her hands. Pulling back a little Labrat gets into a defensive stance and tries breathing electricity, but the static charge gets disrupted when the massive consumption of alcohol from last night untimely forces her to burp. A second guard close by the Captain tries charging Labrat, but can't get through her defenses.
Jak arrives at the scene and pulls out his lute. He starts playing a song that makes his form appear harder to hit (would love a description of how "Song of split blood" looks Jak.) He has Capper close at his heal. The third guard that is not also circling Labrat takes a sweep at her. The sword hits hard, and she starts bleeding. Sirona comes running, blowing past Irdien, Jak and Capper still in the staircase. She gets to Labrat and the guards just frantically asking what's going on. The guard Captain that looks like he could have been convinced to talk until the fight started lets out a commanding scream that pierces Labrat's ears.
In the portal, Adrain spots Arcus and Rat in the distance. He whistles for them and they start making their way over to help. He walks closer to the portal opening letting the guards know that reinforcements are coming and that they should retreat while they can. He holds his weapon ready to act if the guards decide to do anything stupid.
Seeing that L is surrounded Irdien redirects her spiders to climb up and enhance the dragon spawn's armor. She runs down the stairs to Sirona and rounds the corner only to come face to face with the third Guard fighting L. Not missing a beat she attacks him with her blade. She also gets a small cut from his armor. Irdien makes a diversion that lets her back away from his retaliation. She moves behind Sirona to get a better view of the combat and to get away from the guard's reach.
The axe throwing guard enters the portal, attempting to still go after Adrian. Adrian counter strikes, severely injuring the man, who falls to the ground with a scream as blood starts spraying from his leg. Adrian tries to stop the bleeding as the man falls motionless.
Back inside the actual corridor of the tavern, Labrat is still hopelessly surrounded. She keeps focusing on the Captain, but that doesn't stop her deflecting attacks coming at her from the side. The third guard that Irdien danced away from moves after her. Finding Sirona in his path, he chooses to attack her instead. The Aasimar managed to dodge out of the way. Jak finishes his song and elements from the music swirl over to Labrat with soothing healing energy. He then grips the lute and unleashes a burst of sound that staggers the guards still inside the corridor. The man fighting Sirona gets his head squished inwards in an unpleasant way, and he falls to the floor. Capper throws a knife but misses, just like the guard trying to subdue Labrat does. Seeing both the fallen men Sirona makes a quick calculation in her head before screaming for the guards to let her through so she can help the man in the portal. They let her pass, and Sirona runs to Adrian and the fallen guard. She heals the man and then tries sending a second heal towards the man with the imploded head injury.
The Captain makes another attempt at defeating Labrat, but as he strikes her, her armor lights up, soaking most of the blow. He back away from her, arms raise, suddenly not so interested in continuing the fight after all. Adrian gets back into the tavern and knocks one guard out with the pommel of his sword, then Irdien makes another blade attack against the last standing guard, taking him out. Labrat finishes the combat by knocking the Captain out, catching him by the collar of his ornate armor to prevent him from tumbling down the stairs.
Sirona goes to inspect the man with the head injury, but her magic was not enough to save him. He is dead. She puts a cloth over his head and reads a short prayer while Adrian head back to the portal and the only guard still conscious thanks to being healed before. He demands to know what's going on. The startled guard tells him that The Cardinal sent them to apprehend Adrian. They are the owners of the enormous Casino at the docks and one of the crime families that runs a considerable part of the city. Jak fills in that they are an organization with interest for wine and has been buying up wineries to get a monopoly on this highly requested article. Adrian tells the defeated guard to pick one of his unconscious friends and get out of their sight. The man quickly complies, dragging a man he refers to as Bartholomew towards the exit while Adrian fills in the group what transpired before the fight broke out.
When searching through the remaining men, they find a parchment with Adrian's name and description on the Captain.
