Sometimes you can split the party

The group sits quietly in the VIP room until Irdien tries to break the silence with food talk. She suggests Cookies which Labrat perks up at. Sirona is drinking from the cocktails Jak bought her and says she doesn't feel like leaving The Mysterious Bolder. Irdien asks Jak to come with her to purchase cookies for everyone from the chimney cake confectionery.
As they exit the brothel, leaving the other group members behind, Irdien asks if Jak can take her to a bank while they are out. Jak calls her "love" which Irdien teases him about, but she also very plainly likes it and his company. After buying an abundance of cookies, Jak orders a courier to deliver them to the brothel while he guides Irdien to the closest bank that's Jak-approved. Most of their pleasant walk involves them trying to get the other to overshare their feelings for one another, but they are both tight-lipped. Irdien does manage to throw him by humming the inappropriate song Jak sang for her while blackout drunk just maybe an hour ago.
On their way back to the brothel, after concluding Irdien's busyness at the bank, they acknowledge that Sirona needs help, but upon arriving back learns that Sirona has already gone to bed. Only Labrat is left downstairs munching cookies. Jak and Irdien join her for a drink. Adrian spends the evening in the portal trying to train Arcus, but the drake has a temper and doesn't want to listen to his attempts at commands.
During the night Sirona has another one of her nightmares but doesn't tell anyone. Instead, she gets up early, has a bath and orders breakfast to be delivered to her room. She has no intention of exiting her suite today until Labrat comes by and asks her to go downstairs with her. Sirona reluctantly agrees.
After asking Jak where he can find an artificer to look at the portal key, Adrian left The Mysterious Bolder early in the morning. Adrian makes his way to Gluri; the dwarf lieutenant of the Bookkeepers, who mentioned that he was welcome to visit his forge during their last meeting. The complex is an old city block converted into one solid mega building, witch a courtyard.  Adrian needs to wait 3 hours for the key to be charged, but he get is done. Afterwards, he visits a nearby market to restock on some sheep, cows, pigs and chickens for the dragons. He shows off the portal in action while on the square, but luckily people seem to know better than trying to take it from him. On his way back, he stops by Vincent to make sure he's still all right. Capper is already there. They seem to have built some form of connection talking about their different opinions concerning Jak and his persona.
In the brothel, Jak is delighted to finally get some company in the VIP room downstairs upon Labrat and Sirona's late arrival. He orders Sirona and himself a "hair of the dog" drink, reputed to cure hangovers. Labrat gives away to much of her gold to pay for the breakfast buffé, while Jak performs a song he's been working on all morning. Sirona points out its the third song he's dedicated to her during the last 24 hours.
Jak excuses himself and heads upstairs to find Irdien. Irdien is severely hungover this morning and in no mood for his jokes or charm. Grumpily she agrees that she will take Sirona and Labrat to some site associated with Morena with the city, while Jak does whatever he has planned to do.
Jak has in fact planned to find a weapon-smith. He orders customised weapons that he calls "throwing stars" coated with silver and a vambrace. He takes a stroll restocking his herbalism kit and ends up in a tavern at Eml's Hill listening to gossip and gambling with members of The Cardinal and Forgeshifters. He learns amounts other things that The Cardinal leader is named Isrysha, and she is a fair and the best leader they've had. The leader of the Forgeshifter is called Harut, and he got into power about five years ago and celebrated by poisoning every one of his rivals. Jak also learns that rumours are going around that The Demara family has some independent actors and that the Thanor'Thal crime family leader might actually be of that old noble house. After clearing house, and collecting his winnings, Jak buys his gambling competitors a round of drinks and scares off one particular sore loser, before heading back to the brothel.
The girls end up not following Jak's instructions. When Irdien shows up trying to convince the other two to go outside with her, Sirona declines. She doesn't want to risk what happened yesterday to happen again. Instead, Sirona uses her Holy symbol to clear Irdien's hangover, and the girls end up spending some relaxed and laughing hours in Irdien's room, playing cards.
Around lunchtime, the group has finally met up, and Adrian decides it is time to contact Ernas again. The headmaster says that he will arrive at eight a clock this evening and meet them at The Mysterious Bolder.
