Here comes the bride

Adrian moves forward into the next room, alone. He spots the staircase that will lead up to the vault, but in his paths are more guards in his way. As one of them swings what looks to be a hard hit, Adrian quickly parries using his sword, pushing them back.
Meanwhile, Jak climbs in through the window he broke and starts shoving things and papers from the desk into his pockets and bag. Amongst other things, he grabs a healing potion before running towards the next room.
Now alone in the foyer with Garados Kessemir, Sirona turns to the necromancer and tells him that he should be very mindful of what he chooses to do as she is the only one interested in keeping him alive. Then she runs after Adrian to make sure he's okay.
In the next room, Adrian is still fighting with the guard as more enters the fray. One emerges from the bathroom, paints barely pulled back up. One guard goes for Sirona, but her shield blocks the attack.
Labrat runs in, making a calculated observation of the fight going on. This is a dining room, and there's a big table blocking her path from the others. With the momentum she worked up by running, she jumps and slides gracefully over to the other side, knocking over many plates and cups in the process that fall to the floor.
Garados moves into the doorframe and sends a forced draining bolt at the two guards between Sirona and Labrat. They turn feeble and weak but keep fighting.
Irdien brings up the rear behind Garados and throws one of her throwing knives into the thick of the fight. It graces one of the guards faces before embedding itself into the wall. Adrian's sword joins it momentarily as he miscalculates the confiding space, but he quickly pulls the blade back out.
Jak jumps up on the table that Labrat just slid over and pulls his sword. While striking at the guards closes to him, he starts to sing with a resounding voice, and a shimmer of magic seems to spread out from him, like strings, connecting him to Adrian, Labrat and Kessemir.
Sirona tries to escape the guards' reach next to her, but he won't let her back away from him.
The conflict carries on with Adrain getting nicked by an obsidian dagger and Irdien cartwheeling up on the table, ending with a gymnastic vault that carries her above the head of jak. She lands and immediately extends her leg in a kick that knocks the guards out next to Sirona. Shortly after that, the fight is over.
Sirona lifts the unconscious guards into an adjacent pool room. Since she doesn't trust Kessemir, she makes an attempt to make the man Garados killed not usable for him to raise in a fight against them and places the body gently inside the pool room, too, before blocking the door with chairs. Hopefully, that should delay the guards, should they wake up early, to become a problem.
Ensuring that everyone is okay, the group starts moving up the staircase. They discuss how they will open the vault door. Kessemir says he can open it with a magic spell. Adrian encourages the necromancer to go first.
As the door opens, the necromancer gets attacked by two spear-wielding guards.
Adrian joins after him. The vault looks like a bank office with barred off areas. There are archers in the back, but in a comfy armchair to the side sits Rosamund Jerkath, his hopefully not soon to be sister in law.
Kessemir summons a thick mist that makes the close by guards cough before he retreats back out of the chamber after tasting those spears.
Labrat runs in top join Adrian ins fighting the close by guards as the archers start taking aim and shot at them. Adrian swiftly and impressively manages to strike an arrow of its course as it heads straight for his heart.
Rosamund gets up and starts fighting Adrian, but not without the two of them giving each other almost taunting comments about their peculiar situation.
Jak takes a hint from the archers and pulls out his own bow, shooting into the room. As arrows start flying back and forth, Labrat gets hit by two.
Wanting to get Labrat free off the guard that she is fighting, so she can move away from the path of arrows, Sirona summons her ice javelin to strick him. As the spell is sent off towards the guard, a shift in the battle Sirona didn't anticipate has the javelin strikes into Labrat instead. Sirona screams as she instantly gets chilled by shock and fear. She clasps her hands together and summons a healing light that she sends towards Labrat, closing all her wounds. Apologies rains from her like the start of a deluge. Sirona changes tactics and runs inside to physically help Labrat instead by distracting the guard she is fighting.
It helps as the guard turns away from Labrat in an attempt to dispose of the intruder's healer. Labrat exhales him with lighting, and he falls down unconscious. She moves up towards the archers in the back that Irdien is trying to target one by one.
Rosamund throws a spell on Adrian that seems to affect his mind. As he tries to attack her, a wave of pain starts pressing on his skull. He powers through it and strikes at her feeling the pain pierce him in the process. She retreats further back and throws a potion bottle at Labrats feet, releasing a gas that disrupts and hampers The Dragon Spawn.
Jak steps up and summons a black skeletal hand to attack the guards with a death gauntlet. It misses, but he is reasonably sure that the necromancer in the back noticed that and will have questions. Kessemir seems to save them for now and sends another weakening force draining ray at Rosamunda and a nearby guard.
Sirona runs towards Rosamund, unsheathing her war pick. She asks her to surrender and stop the fight, but Rosamund refuses. Sirona strikes her with the hammer. The fight continues.
