Who's afraid of the big bad wolf?

The last stragglers of werewolves are not giving up. One of them attacks and bites Labrat as she's shielding Jak and Sirona. Another on lunges at Irdien, but the protective crystal Sirona cast above the drow's head intercepts. The wolf gets a mouth full of ice, thoroughly crushing the crystal between its jaws, but even so, part of his teeth sinks into Irdien's shoulder. Sirona quickly converts one of her more powerful spells into a healing essence and sends it towards Jak, who had taken a huge hit before. Then she swings her war-pick again, trying to keep the claws and teeth away. Using her distraction, Labrat cuts the werewolf down.
Following her lead, Irdien and Adrian manage to finally cut down the two opponents giving them a hard time. Jak tries to insult the last werewolf standing to death, but it just snarls something back.  Jak hurriedly changes tactics and sends a song of aid to heal Labrat's wounds. He's being repaid by the werewolf taking a bite out of his arm. Labrat steps up and cuts the head off the werewolf, ending the fight. Left is the group among eight dead werewolves and a hut tied down by red crystalline veins. Sirona starts tending Jak's wounds with bandages as her healing magic is out. Irdien apologises profusely for all of this and offers him a healing potion, but the group says it is better if she saves it.
Meanwhile, Adrian approaches the hut. He climbs up on the chicken leg elevated porch and opens the door. The hut interior looks just like one would picture a witches hut. It has a lit oven in the back and tables and shelves with different herbs and vials. What stands out the most is a pink crystal the size of a head resting on a table. As Adrian interacts with it, a hologram appears. The image of Confessor Ilgron Cromwell turns to him with a surprised look on his face asking if the group managed to kill the hag. Adrian lies, saying yes at first, but later retracts, saying she ran away. Ilgron seems puzzled that she must have managed to find a loophole in her contract to him if she left without apprehending Sirona. Adrian tries to see the aftermath of Ilgron's severed arm, but it's hidden within his robe. As the two men talk, using mostly insults for one another, their voice carry outside. Sirona recognises the voice of her old mentor and gasps. Jak also hears the voice and figures out its identity from Sirona's reaction. He tries to shield her in a comforting grasp, but Sirona shakes him off her and starts approaching the hut. With a lot of help from Irdien, Sirona finally manages to haul herself up to the door and stands face to face with the holographic image.
Ilgron tells her to come back home, where she was doing important work. Sirona tells him he is a liar and knows about the plan to give her up to The Diabolist. The way he reacts to her words means to Sirona that he doesn't understand what she's referring to. He claims that he wants her to be his successor back at the mansion and that her so-called friends are the ones who are feeding her lies. Sirona recovers by telling him that The Diabolist wants him dead. Again she sees surprise on his face, but he explains it as one gets enemies when trying to make the world a better place. After telling her to come home, Sirona says that he was never her home and shatters the crystal with her war-pick.
Adrian gives Sirona a hug telling her she did amazing. Sirona sits down on the floor shaking, and Labrat joins her, asking if she can help. Sirona tells her to simply sit with her.
While Adrian spends the better part of an hour ransacking the hut and finding components and ingredients that will enhance his magical sword Jak speak with Irdien outside; Asking if she is okay. At first, Irdien tries to brush him off, but when he hugs her tightly, she starts crying, feeling awfully guilty about everything that recently happened.
Once Adrian is satisfied that he had gotten everything useful from the hut, he finishes f by writing a threatening sendoff scratched in her table. Sirona gives Irdien a look over, but Jak is the one who confirms that she no longer appears to be cursed. Sirona tells Irdien to tell her instantly if she feels worse.
Jak identifies the glade that must have been the Gatherers old mushroom patch on their way back through the forest. It's baren despite looking like the perfect condition for growing mushroom. He starts pocking around and discovers a magical glow coming from underneath the moss. After digging a bit, he unearths some pottery. It's a flask with strange runes that seems to have a curse on it. Assuming it's the cause of the infertile grove, Jak finds a truffle amongst the lot taken from Baga Yaga and plants it in the ground, hoping to restore the old patch from it.
Moving on, the group eventually finds the ruins of an old farmstead. Outside are a wagon with a campsite, and they quickly recognize the two dwarfs they meet earlier. From behind a wall, they can also hear shouts of Jahan violently shitting himself. Jak takes pity on the demon hunter and prepares a tonic and ointment that should help him. Meanwhile, the rest of the campsite introduces themselves. There are six of them in total.
Grumrarika Icehand is the leader. She has a limp that she credits the hag for. The two dwarfs from before are Thirsear Smeltheart and Thursumlin Blackcoat. These three are the clear dwarfs of the group. Then there's Sanzir Ylladi, Essaerae Axesunder and Claire Merryspine. Except for Essaerae, who the group suspect to be a half-dwarf half-elf, the other two are clear elves. Essaerae says she once had tea with the hag. Overall, the group seems to have different opinions on whether the hag is a plague to eliminate or a necessary force protecting the forest.
