Eldolan

April 16, 2020

Labrat dreams about the tunnel again. It leads to a vast cavern where she meets a gigantic Golden Dragon that welcomes her with the word "kin" before breathing fire on her. As she wakes up, her armor is glowing red and hot but as she touches is, it's only slightly warm to the touch.
There is a knock on the door in the middle of the night. Some guards are asking for Sirona Boyd. Labrat doesn't answer it, and when they leave, she barricades the door with some furniture from their room.
Adrian and Irdien have a separate room where Irdien Talvaethnotices Adrian Maulitz planning for the near future. He tells her about the contract on the Wererat.

As the morning comes, the group met up for breakfast. Jak o' the Wisp plays a happy song about the night before. The guards return, asking for Sirona's medical help. She and Labrat's visits the knocked out guards from last night, and Sirona heals them. Adrian meets a human merchant, Hybald of Breness, that tells him he has a shop in Eldolan that the group should visit if we want the type of wares Adrian's requesting.

The party leaves for Eldolan. During the trip, Sirona asked Jak about the treason acquisitions, but Jak ensures her that they are false. Only Adrian sees through his lie. Jak asks in return about Sirona's connection to the creepy mansion, and she tells him she is unsure why but that she was probably there for her healing.
The city of Eldolan isn't only protected by a substantial massive stonewall but also a magical ward that Sirona gets deeply fascinated about as she jumps from one side to the others a couple of times until a guard asks what she's doing. Jak, under a disguise self spell this time, explains that she is his jester in training.

They spot two Mages in dark robes that are Drow, and as Jak wants Irdien to talk with them, she punches him in the stomach. This still alerts the mages of her presence, and they have a quick, polite exchange of words in elvish.
The Monster hunters Guild house is in the common part of town, but the resident Monster hunters aren't at home, so Adrian lets the group in and scribbles a note for the hunters explaining who they are should they return while the group is out. Adrian then buys some groceries and Irdien surprises, everyone, by cooking up a lovely meal.

After dinner, the group heads out to visit the temple yard, and Sirona buys a freshly made apple pie to present as a gift to Morena.
When placing her offering at the altar and then kneeling to pray, Jak takes a handful of pie. The high priestess of the shrine scolds him, but Jak's boyish charm gets the better of her. Sirona gets a bit upset, and Adrian tells Jak to apologies, which he sort of half-asses dose.
Irdien visits Veles house of worship witch is the grandest Tempel in the city.
After leaving to get back to the guild house, Adrian ponders loudly about getting silver arrows. Jak offers him a large silver chain to melt so he can dip and coat the regular arrowheads in it.
