Description and Atmosphere:

Cord, now a small MnSobek village at the very edge of the world, once thrived as a much larger settlement overlooking the Fall. According to local beliefs, the world was barren until the first people ascended from the undersky below the Fall, and settled along a small stream in the delta that eventually became the village of Cord, the first settlement.

Governance:

Like most MnSobek settlements, they are guided by the elders of their tribe. Chief among them are the Elder of the Hunt, the Elder of the Faith, and the Elder of the Land. Governance is a communal endeavor guided by the most respected and most interested among the tribe.

Cord retains its traditional significance as a place of historical and cultural importance.

In times long past, Cord could be considered the capital of the MnSobek people. Overlooking the vast expanse of the sky below, the village held a pivotal role in the collective narrative of the MnSobek origin.
