Nestled at the edge of The Gnarled Woods, Villach is a vibrant Mnsobek settlement. The village seamlessly blends into the natural surroundings, with wooden structures connecting with the trees, reflecting the community's harmonious coexistence with the woods.

Governance:

Like most MnSobek settlements, they are guided by the elders of their tribe. Chief among them are the Elder of the Hunt, the Elder of the Faith, and the Elder of the Land. Governance is a communal endeavor guided by the most respected and most interested among the tribe.  

Culture:

Life in Villach is deeply intertwined with the resources provided by the nearby forest. The villagers engage in practices that sustain both their daily needs and cultural traditions. From The Gnarled Woods, they gather materials for construction, medicinal herbs, and game, fostering a self-reliant and resilient way of life.

Villach mostly keeps to itself. It deals mainly with other MnSobek villages and trades in wood, mushrooms, and other forest agriculture food stuffs.

Transportation:

An old road leads south along one of the streams of the Gagular, but ends abruptly as it is swallowed by the swamp. Most of the travel in and out of Villach is made towards the cradle and is made on foot on unmarked hunter trails, or by skiffs or flatboats (punts), along the slow streams towards Cleave or through the swamp towards
