Era of the Flame (PR (Post Rising) or EF (Era of the Flame)) > 0
Rising of the First Everlasting Flame.
This Era began roughly 400 years ago and is marked by the rising of the Everlasting Flame to power.
It also marks the last known time the world had fire, or at least so the legends tell.
The current world does not know fire, other than as a legend or a horror one would scare children with.

The Reign of the First Everlasting Flame
01/01/000 ← 01/01/92- The conquest of Edge Basin.
- Discovery of electricity and the establishment of Thecnomancery orders.
- Spreading beyond the Great Rise Mountains to the highlands and beginning the century-long war of conquest on the people of the highlands.
- Establishing Edge Capital as the center of the known world.
- The rule of the First Everlasting Flame was unnaturally long as he rose to power as an adult, with estimations suggesting he was around 27 years old, and ruled for 92 years beyond that before his death.

Years of Confusion
01/01/092 ← 01/01/99- After the death of the Everlasting Flame, his son inherited his reign, at the age of approximately 50 years old.
- His reign lasted only 7 years, during which the Empire was not as secure and confident as it was during the time of his father's rule.
- His death was not very surprising as he faded away and was inherited by his third son, as both of his older siblings died before his own death.

The Second Rising
01/01/100 ← 01/01/173- Upon the death of the Everlasting Flame the 2nd, his third son, only 17, inherited the title.
- Charismatic and relentless he captured the nation and led it to a century of glory.
- The conquest of the highlands has been completed, except for the Hadeeb of the Khuree desert.
- Edge flourished in wealth and innovation, and began to become overcrowded.
- Trade across the Sunset Sea began, and the influence of Edge arrived in the independent cities and Iskristy Lim.
The New Age
In the year 395 fire has returned to the world alongside whispers of magic stirring within the outskirts of civilization.
Many denied it and brushed it off as superstition, but eventually, none could continue to deny the New Age.
