You play or sing a discordant tune at a creature within range, that causes pain and discomfort to the target, possibly making their ear bleed. Make a ranged spell attack against the target. On a hit, the target takes 1d8 psychic damage.

Targets that can't hear are immune to this spell. Creatures with Keen Hearing suffer additional damage equal to your spellcasting ability modifier, and creatures that rely on echolocation or hearing to orient themselves in space also have their movement reduced by half until the start of your next turn.

At Higher LevelsThis spell’s damage increases by 1d8 when you reach 5th level (2d8), 11th level (3d8), and 17th level (4d8).
