1st level enchantment (Bard, Wizard)

Casting Time: 1 action

Range: Self 

Components: V, M (a finesse melee weapon worth at least 1 sp)

Duration: concentration, up to 1 minute

You brandish the weapon used in the spell’s casting and begin an exquisite dance; you make a melee attack as part of the casting of the spell.

Make a performance check.

For the duration, you may gain the following benefits, depending on the result of your performance check:

up to 10:

  • You fumble and gain no effect from the spell. You make your melee attack normally.

11 to 20:

  • The range of your melee attacks with this weapon increases by 5 feet.
  • You add your Charisma (instead of Dexterity or Strength) modifier to this weapon's attack.

21 to 29:

  • While attacking with this weapon, you can make an additional attack with your bonus action.
  • You may Disengage as a free action.

30+

  • You gain +2 to your AC and Dexterity saving throws.
  • You add additional damage equal to your Charisma modifier to each damage roll made with this weapon.

At Higher Levels. If the spell is cast at 3rd level or higher, the duration is 1 minute, and the spell does not require concentration.
