Rites

Followers create a peaceful atmosphere, with soft music and gentle words, and they offer prayers for the soul's safe passage. A Remembrance Garden dedicated to the memory of loved ones is often created, a place where loved ones can connect with the spirits of the departed and find solace in their memories.

The Calming: This ceremony is for those that have been traumatized by death, or violence. The followers of Aluvima will use soft words, and gentle touch to help calm the person. They will then guide the person through a meditation, to help them accept what has happened.

The Black Vigil: A ceremony held at the witching hour, where followers gather to meditate on the nature of mortality and the peaceful transition to the afterlife, and harmonizing with the void. Quiet hymns and chants are sung and then stop, and all light is snuffed out, to symbolize the fading of life.
