41 - Dark Alleys and Shady Leads

Goal

• Find a way to get the Eggs

Setup

The party entered Owlchester and scouted out the Dragoon Academy. They met with a shady individual that overheard the party talk about the eggs and told them about the delivery. The individual is also staying in the Black Whale inn.

A time jump of two days is done. During that time, the characters did the following things:

• Hildegard: Approached by some Hannelore and asked if she could be present at Pelor's Sanctuary's new opening, a request from the nobles.
• Auron: Felt followed several times, but didn't find out by who. Did find Tormaa's Fist symbol when looking for clues.
• Norik: Learnt about the Kydwelly & Kolcei Bank shipment of diamonds that ship wrecked by the Hanging Island.
• Zook: Went to the library to research the wyverns. Didn't find much, except that Blanche's Wyvern is called Diamond and is 7 years old.
• Levin: ?

    • Ashen Sanctuary: Dusty, run down, hasn't seen any real work in a long time.
    • Members have felt re-energized with Tormaa's new strength, but lack the funds to expand her influence
    • Dawnfather Hospital: Pelor hospital that was rebuilt following the fire of the previous one.

NPCS

• Blanche Whitewood (female half-orc, direct, powerful, intimidating)
  • Mistakes the team for new recruits "not quite the look we are going for, less extravagant"
  • Thinks the party is joking when they want a wyvern egg: They are her babies
  • They arrive here already hatched. Part of the ritual of becoming a rider is to collect your egg and help your wyvern grow.
  • She is absolutely not, under any condition, allowed to give out the information where they find them. 
  • If the players insist, she will get up, check the door that no one is listening, and tell the party about her predicament. If they help her out, she'll help them out and turn a blind eye.
  • The President wants to stop using wyverns? Or something that would jeopardise her and her colleagues work. She wants the players to stage something to change his mind?
    • For ex, announce that Arden will start using Wyverns, and sell them to other kingdoms?
• Nathanyell Boddinham (human male, stoic, charming, falls in love with the princess)
  • Will recognise Auron, and eventually seek him for a Duel "for tormaa, and for Hilde's heart"
  • Once defeated maybe will consider converting to Avalyra.
  • Renounce leadership to Pava Lovell for his blindsightedness.
• Jasemine Laken (elven female)
  • Head of the Dawnfather Hospital.
• Hannelore Krampitz
  • Been approached by nobles of Owlchester, they want the party to participate in the opening ceremony of the new Dawnfather Hospital.
• Morgana Pino (female human, italian accent, pissed/annoyed)
  • Working for the Jasemine Laken during the opening ceremony of the new Dawnfather Hospital.
  • Her goal is to not end up dead or in prison.

End of Session

Auron defeated Nathaniel and gave Pava 1000 gold to rebuild the temple. Pava gave info about Blanche's Child and elven traits.
Norik wonders about gods and their benefits.
Ramos is impressed by all the activities.
Zook goes to an Ioun temple and prays to Ioun and Sima to thank them for info and ask for support in his questions and quests. Leaves 40 Gold.
Norik got info about the Hanging island.
Zook went to the hospital and read some of their research: blood transfusion.
Norik & Levin visited the orphanage to find info about Philippa, but only heard about her being kidnapped by a powerful and rich man. Found the local black market, paid 30gp each to get info about the slave market the next day at Liselotte's Trene fountain at 22:20 for a letter with info about where to find the slave market.
Zook, Ramos, Hilde and Auron went to the Hospital. Hildegard sung a song of Pelor. Attacked by the assassins and golem. Kaldrac killed an assassin and ran after Morgana Pino. Ramos summoned 600 butterflies on the golem, zook examined it.
Norik & Levin went to find info about the rancent brothers. Brothers are cold, Andrew is more boistus of his wealth, while Michael is more kind hearted and decent in his display of wealth.
Party met up in the evening at the tavern to eat, sleep.
