The D'Aubainne University serves two purposes. As the public is well aware, it serves as a center of learning, both in terms of new research and education. Her Exaltedness, however, also sees to it that the university furthers her goals, including screening students for potential agents and specialists in her service, developing dossiers on potential enemies in the student body, and keeping the progress of science under her easy observation.
