Dustveil Chapel (Chapel of Saint Six-Guns) is a plain, open-door sanctuary that serves as the town’s moral center and truce ground. Visitors peace-wrap weapons at the porch, disputes are heard at a simple railwood table, and the bell rings for funerals, truces, and calls to muster. Ada Loxley keeps coffee on, blesses hands and tools, and runs a Truce Box where feuders deposit rounds before talks. The chapel posts “don’t draw first” as house law, keeps a small aid fund for bail and burial, and coordinates with the sheriff during rail-stop busy hours—quietly offering food, water lists, and a place to cool off before trouble starts.
