His influence spreads across Midora and deep within the underworld, wherever darkness breeds suspicion.

Visarius is a being of immense and unfathomable power. His form is ever-shifting, a silhouette cloaked in writhing tendrils of shadow, with two hauntingly blue eyes that pierce through any veil. To gaze upon him is to risk being swallowed by his illusions, one’s perception forever lost in a labyrinth of falsehood. Those who fall under his eye rarely escape, ensnared in his treacherous grasp and bent to his whims.

Mortal depictions of Visarius describe a massive, looming figure of shadow, hunched forward in a knuckle-walking posture. His elongated arms stretch outward like living shadows, forever reaching for prey. Shade-tendrils spill endlessly from his form, curling and twisting into the dark, as though reality itself recoils from his presence. His two radiant, icy-blue eyes glow with predatory patience, the only constant in his otherwise mutable body.

History

Legends claim Visarius rose from the earliest currents of shadow at the dawn of the Abyss, when falsehood first gave shape to terror. His earliest conquests were not made through violence, but through lies so potent that entire legions slaughtered one another under his whispers. When mortals first learned to fear the dark, priests of forbidden sects began to whisper his name, hailing him as the bringer of secrets and the master of unseen truth.

In time, Visarius became entrenched in the First Sphere of the underworld, carving his dominion not through conquest but through control of perception. Even his victories are hard to mark, for his foes often fall without ever realizing they had been deceived until the final blade falls. Personality

Visarius is not a god of rage or brutality but of patience, calculation, and subterfuge. He delights in unraveling his prey slowly, sowing doubt, twisting words, and watching his victims destroy themselves by chasing lies of his design. His cruelty is rarely direct — instead, he maneuvers mortals and demons into pits of their own making, reveling in the irony of their downfall.

Capricious yet deliberate, Visarius is difficult to appease. He grants power readily, but his bargains are traps, laced with illusions that ensure his pawns are bound to him forever. Even his closest servants are never certain whether they are favored or merely another piece on his shadowed board.

Worshipers

Cults and shadowy sects devoted to Visarius thrive on secrecy. His faithful are drawn to the promise of forbidden knowledge and the power to manipulate others. To his cultists, Visarius offers sight beyond sight — the ability to perceive weaknesses in others and bend them to one’s will.

The most infamous of these servants is Kallista, the Dark Herald, a warlock of terrifying beauty and cunning. As a ruling member of the Court of Thorns in Vikholm, she spreads her master’s influence with charm and ruthless strategy. Kallista’s cult, the Tendrils of Kallista, is feared for its ritual sacrifices, manipulation of nobles, and ability to sway even the strongest-willed mortals. Neither the Dominion nor the Dynasty has been able to strike her down, her powers of illusion shielding her from assassins and armies alike.

Those who join the Tendrils do so at a price: their souls pledged to Visarius. To them, he is not merely a god but the very essence of truth hidden behind shadow — a truth so terrible that only those willing to abandon light entirely may glimpse it.

Eternal Rivalry

Visarius is eternally opposed by Xinon, the Abyssal God of Dark Magic and Manipulation of Fate, known among cultists as the Prince of the Lost. While Visarius weaves illusions and deception, Xinon manipulates curses and binds the threads of destiny itself. Both share dominion over the First Sphere, a realm of lies and treachery, and both seek to claim it as their own.

Their conflict is not defined by open war but by endless maneuvering. Every plot Visarius spins is shadowed by Xinon’s counterplot; every curse Xinon lays is obscured by Visarius’ illusions. Their rivalry is a game of shadows within shadows, where demons and mortals alike are pawns in their great struggle. Armies march and cults rise not for conquest alone but as gambits in their eternal duel.

This ceaseless dance of deceit has shaped the First Sphere into a realm of paranoia and shifting allegiances. Prophets of the Abyss whisper that Visarius and Xinon may in truth be two faces of a singular abyssal truth — inseparably linked, destined to outmaneuver yet never destroy one another. Their rivalry is paradoxical: destructive, eternal, and the source of the First Sphere’s chaos.

Abilities

• Lord of Shadows – Commands absolute dominion over darkness, allowing him to conjure, shape, and animate shadows into tendrils, forms, and phantasms.
  
• Master of Illusions – Can weave entire landscapes of falsehood, ensnaring armies in phantom wars or drowning mortals in visions of torment.
  
• Labyrinth of Night – His shadow-tendrils can pierce the veil of reality, dragging victims into nightmarish illusion-realms where time and space collapse.
  
• Whispers of Deceit – With but a word, he can seed paranoia, twist perception, and drive mortals to betray themselves and others.
  
• Shaper of Memory – No oath or recollection is safe from his touch; Visarius can alter memories, implant false truths, and erase loyalties at will.

Possessions / Relics

Few relics are attributed directly to Visarius, for he has no need of weapons beyond shadow itself. However, cultists claim to wield cursed mirrors said to contain his gaze, artifacts capable of ensnaring souls in illusions.
