Elinyrami

The Keeper of the Deep
NPC, Abyssal Deity

Elinyrami, also known as the Keeper of the Deep, is an abyssal demon deity who is believed to be one of the most elusive and enigmatic beings in the abyss. Her followers believe that she is the true ruler of the second sphere, and they fiercely contest the claims of Hushaz, the Tunnel Tyrant. Elinyrami's domains include Arcana, Knowledge, and Lies. Her followers believe that she holds the key to unlocking the secrets of the abyss and that only through her guidance can they gain the knowledge they seek. However, her methods are often seen as treacherous, and many of her followers are willing to use deception and manipulation to achieve their goals.

Elinyrami is often depicted as a serpentine figure with a humanoid torso and a head with two large horns. Her followers believe that she can see into the future and that she has the power to manipulate reality itself. Her worshipers are often scholars, alchemists, and sorcerers who seek to gain greater understanding of the universe and the workings of magic.

Many legends surround Elinyrami, and some even suggest that she was once a mortal who ascended to godhood through her mastery of arcane secrets. However, most of these stories are dismissed as heretical by the Church of the Silver Dominion, who view Elinyrami as a dangerous and treacherous demon. Despite that, Elinyrami is often associated with serpents and snakes in mortal mythology. In many tales, she is depicted as the creator and guardian of all snakes, both venomous and non-venomous. She is believed to have gifted them with their ability to shed their skin, which is seen as a symbol of transformation and rebirth.

According to legend, Elinyrami is said to have created the first snake by shedding her own skin, imbuing it with her power and breath of life. From that first snake, all other snakes were born. She is often depicted in artwork and sculptures as a beautiful woman with a serpent's tail, or as a giant snake with a human-like face. In some cultures, snakes are seen as symbols of wisdom and knowledge, and are associated with magical powers and mysticism. Elinyrami is revered as a patron of knowledge and arcane secrets, and is often called upon by scholars, mystics, and seekers of hidden knowledge.

However, Elinyrami's association with snakes is not always positive. In some cultures, snakes are seen as symbols of deceit and treachery, and are feared for their venomous bites. In these stories, Elinyrami is portrayed as a cunning and manipulative deity who uses her knowledge and powers to deceive and mislead others. Despite these conflicting interpretations, Elinyrami remains a powerful figure in demon mythology, known for her association with serpents and her domain over knowledge, lies, and arcane secrets.
