Sons of Silver

Guild History

The Sons of Silver have a long history in the northern land of Kalamar, dating back to the days when the Silver Dominion first established its influence over the region. The league was formed by a group of allied Kalamar Jarls who recognized the power and wealth of the Silver Dominion and sought to align themselves with its rulers. Over the years, the Sons of Silver have worked tirelessly to extend the Dominion's influence in the north and gain power and influence for themselves.

Abilities

The members of the Sons of Silver are skilled warriors and leaders, who have a deep understanding of the land and its people. They are adept at forming alliances and manipulating local politics to achieve their goals. Many members of the league have also amassed great wealth through trade and commerce, and are able to fund and support their efforts to gain power and influence.

Hierarchy

The Sons of Silver faction has a hierarchical structure that reflects the power dynamics and political influence of its members. At the top of the hierarchy is the Crown Jarl, the chosen Jarl to become the new Duke in the event of the death of the former Duke. This position is highly coveted, as it would give the Crown Jarl immense power and influence over Kalamar. Below the Crown Jarl are the True Sons, a group of Jarls who are disillusioned with the current order of things and seek to remove the Earls and the Duke through plotting and scheming. They are a faction within the Sons of Silver, often at odds with each other, as they compete for power and influence.

At the bottom of the hierarchy are the Skalds, a title given to loyal households across Kalamar who support the Dominion and the Sons of Silver. They are often religious commoners who believe in the importance of the Silver Dominion's rule and the power of the Jarls. The hierarchy of the Sons of Silver is not fixed and is subject to change based on the political climate and the ambitions of its members. However, the Crown Jarl is seen as the ultimate goal for many members, as it would give them the power to shape the future of Kalamar according to their own vision.

Marcus Fjord is considered one of the most prominent and respected members of the Sons of Silver. He is known for his charisma and his ability to rally support from the common people. Fjord is a well-known figure in Anaheim and has a reputation for being generous and helpful to the city's citizens. However, his true intentions and loyalties are unclear, as he has been known to hide his true motivations from even his closest allies. Fjord is the current Crown Jarl, the leader of the Sons of Silver and aspires to become the next Duke of Kalamar if the opportunity arises.

Alf Stoneborn is a Jarl who is extremely vocal about his support for the Silver Dominion and the Sons of Silver. His unwavering loyalty to the cause has cost him an ear and a hand, but he has never given up his efforts to convince the people of the good that the Dominion has brought to Kalamar. Stoneborn is known for his fiery speeches and his ability to mobilize support among the common people. He is seen by many as a martyr for the cause and is highly respected among the True Sons faction of the Sons of Silver.

Beliefs and Goals

The Sons of Silver share a set of beliefs and goals that bind them together as a league. They are deeply committed to the Silver Dominion and seek to increase its influence over the northern lands of Kalamar. They believe that the current rulers, the Earls and the Duke, are weak and corrupt, and that their removal is necessary for the good of Kalamar. They also believe in the importance of loyalty and brotherhood, and that their cause is just and righteous.

Guild Rules

To ensure that all members of the league are committed to the cause, the Sons of Silver have a set of rules that must be followed. These include standing true to the cause and never surrendering, trusting in the support of the Dominion, and being willing to sacrifice oneself for the greater good. Members who violate these rules or are seen as disloyal may face punishment or even expulsion from the league.

The hierarchy of the league is also important to its success. The Crown Jarl is seen as the leader of the league, and is responsible for leading the Sons of Silver in times of crisis or war. True Sons are those who are actively working to remove the Earls and Duke from power through plotting and scheming. Skalds are loyal households across Kalamar who support the Dominion and the Sons of Silver, often made up of religious commoners.

While the Sons of Silver have a clear set of goals and rules, they are also a divided group with different ideas on how to achieve their aims. Some seek to overthrow the Duke and become the new rulers themselves, while others are more focused on increasing the influence of the Dominion. This can sometimes lead to tension and infighting within the league, but overall they are united in their dedication to the cause.
