Their physique is lithe and agile, akin to their Wood Elf counterparts, with an ethereal and otherworldly air about them.

History:

The origin of the Veloren Elves is steeped in mystery, believed to have descended from the moon Drekk. They have recently emerged from their secluded realm within magical forests, seeking refuge in Rivermond cities away from the Stormwoods due to the encroaching abyssal corruption threatening their home. They are also known to roam the woods of Vikholm. Their history is shrouded in the mystical energies of their celestial origins, making them enigmatic even among their elven brethren.

Society:

Veloren Elves maintain a close-knit society deeply rooted in magical forests. They live harmoniously with nature, drawing upon its mystical energies for sustenance and protection. As refugees within the cities, they quickly adapted, integrating with the Wood Elves who offered support. They display a resourceful and adaptable nature, readily engaging in trade and forging alliances to ensure their survival.

Veloren Elf names often carry the essence of nature, celestial bodies, or magical elements. Examples might include names like Sylvanor, Thalindra, Lunaris, or Aranel.

  • Ability Score Increase: Veloren Elves Wisdom score increases by 1.
  • Age: Veloren Elves mature at a pace similar to humans, but their connection to the mystical realm grants them a lifespan that can extend for several centuries.
  • Alignment: They often lean towards neutral alignments, valuing balance and the preservation of nature.
  • Size: Veloren Elves are slightly taller and more slender than Wood Elves, typically standing between 5 and 6 feet tall.
  • Speed: They have a base walking speed of 35 feet, displaying a swiftness honed by their deep connection to the mystical forces.
  • Languages: Veloren Elves can speak, read, and write Common, Elvish, and Sylvan, often spoken by fey creatures and those attuned to nature.
  • Vision: They possess low-light vision, an inherited trait from their kinship with Wood Elves.

They have advantage on saving throws against being charmed, and magic can’t put them to sleep.
