Cassan Da Le'Raei

Cassan is a stoic and serious person. She is focused and determined, and never takes
no for an answer. She is fiercely loyal to her friends and allies, and will fight to the death
to protect them. She is also a shrewd negotiator, able to get the best deals for her services.

She was born in the Vache Kingdom but came to Rivermond with her parents shortly after
where she grew up in the Riverhills in the Redmond region. Her parents were both half-giants,
and she was the only half-giant child in the town. When she was five, her parents were killed
by a group of hunting wyverns. She was able to escape and fled to the city of Redmond.
There she was taken in by a Dwarf named Atlas Mountainbrew, he operated one of the taverns
in the city and Cassan was quickly put to work in exhange for shelter. After working and learning
from the countless patrons she eventually saved up enough gold to buy her own equipment.
Her plan had always been to prepare herself to hunt down beasts for what they did to her parents.

After wandering from town to town, city to city looking for monster bounties she found herself in
Falktown where she met a strange inventor by the name of Stefan Riverton. He was very quick
to point out her primitive way of hunting beast with a bow however she did not take any offence
but she did challenge him to improve it. Her bow as already as good as it could get he admitted
and told her to give him a week. For a week she waited and at the end of that week Stefan showed
her his latest invention. It was a portable handheld ballista thrower or P.H.A.T as he called it.
While it was a large weapon before him, for Cassan it was the perfect size to rest on her shoulder.
Ever since she has only used that and has become somewhat of a celebrity among monster hunters.
