A trinket of the old alchemists of the Vache Kingdom. Rings of Exchange are ornate rings with a blood red ruby on it. While being a decorative piece, after the ring has tasted the blood of the wearer they gain the ability to exchange some of their life to another or even take life from another.
Up to four times a day between long rests, the wearer can lay their hand on someone and either drain health or give health by exchanging their own. The Ring demands a exchange, when giving health you roll 1d20, you remove the amount from your own health and lend it to the other person. Similar goes for draining health from another, by attempting to lay your hand on them. Make a DEX saving throw (DC 17) as you attempt to grab them. Succeeding it, you gain 1d20 health from theirs.
This Ring does not have have any effect on dead creatures, (Undead), or beings of magic (Elementals, Constructs)
