Tao Taoka is the eldest son and heir to the leadership of Clan Taoka. He is a serious and studious young man, with a strong sense of duty and loyalty to his family and clan. He has been groomed since childhood to take over as leader of the clan when his father, Mitsu Taoka, eventually steps down. Tao is highly respected by his fellow samurai for his intelligence and strategic mind.
