The Amulet of Maneuver is a finely crafted piece of jewelry, adorned with intricate engravings and set with a stone of sapphire at its center. When worn, it grants the wearer the ability to swiftly teleport in response to incoming attacks, allowing them to dodge and reposition themselves strategically.
To benefit from the amulet's abilities, it must be worn and attuned to by the wearer. The attunement process requires a short rest, during which the wearer focuses their intention and connection to the amulet's magic.
While wearing the Amulet of Maneuver, the wearer can use a reaction when they are hit by an attack to activate its teleportation ability. By expending 1 of the amulet's 5 charges, the wearer can instantly teleport up to 10 feet to an unoccupied space they can see. If the new position is outside the range of the attack, the attack misses the wearer entirely. The amulet allows for further maneuverability if the situation calls for it. By using 2 charges instead of 1, the wearer can teleport up to 20 feet on a whim, granting them even greater mobility and the ability to quickly reposition themselves on the battlefield.
The Amulet of Maneuver has a total of 5 charges. At dawn, the amulet regains 1d4 charges, allowing the wearer to utilize its teleportation ability multiple times throughout the day. It is important for the wearer to keep track of the remaining charges to ensure they have enough available when needed.
