Alanah Stormson was born and raised in Kalamar as the daughter of Edward Stormson, the Earl of Rygard. Growing up, she was fascinated by the art of war and longed to become a warrior. Her father was a respected lord and a formidable warrior himself, and he trained Alanah and her brothers in the ways of combat.
As Alanah grew older, she began to see the injustices of the Silver Dominion, a foreign power that had claimed authority over Kalamar. She despised the Dominion and wanted to fight for her land and people. One day, she met a group of separatists who shared her views and offered her a chance to fight for Kalamar. She joined them and eventually became a member of the Lions of Kalamar, a consortium of several war parties across Kalamar that was named after the mythical Kalamar Lion. The Lions were made up of partisan warriors whose loyalty lay in their lands rather than the Silver Dominion.
Alanah quickly proved herself to be a skilled and fearless warrior, and she rose through the ranks of the Lions. Despite facing discrimination and resistance from some of the male members, she persisted and earned her place as a higher up member of the consortium as a "lord". Her reputation as a fierce fighter and a no-nonsense leader earned her the nickname of the "Lioness" among the warlords.
As the daughter of a respected lord, Alanah had some advantages in the political arena, but she also faced challenges and criticism from some of her fellow nobles who disapproved of her involvement with the Lions. Nevertheless, she remained steadfast in her beliefs and refused to back down.
Alanah's leadership and combat skills were put to the test during battles against the Silver Dominion, and she proved to be a formidable opponent. Her party within the consortium was the only one led by a woman, and she made sure that no man questioned her authority and came out unharmed. She demanded respect and was not afraid to put anyone in their place, whether they were her enemies or allies.
Despite the risks and dangers involved in her fight for Kalamar, Alanah remained committed to the cause and was determined to liberate her land from the grip of the Silver Dominion.
