BellmondBeing the only City in the region, it houses several businesses and people from across the country and from afar. It has a market that never sleeps, one of the largest inns in the country and is home to many knights. The city is surrounded by woodlands and has a hill in the middle of it where the Bellmond Manor sits. The city underwent changes when Lucas Kardean became the new Baron of Bellmond. The refugees from the Stormwoods were granted a place in the city which was named the Veloren Enclave. The defenses are being prepared in case of an attack from the Dynasty.Places of interest.
| The smallest of the regions in Rivermond, the area is almost entirely covered in forests. It has the most wildlife and thus having the best hunters in all of Rivermond. The sigil of Bellmond is a head of a Stag and the Knights in the region known as Stag Knights take on that by adorn their helmets with ornate antlers or real antlers. Bellmond is the only city in the region and ruled by the Kardean family, Baymount is a small port where the Quinn family lives and rules. Seacliff is a small village sitting upon a cliff, it does have a strong fishing community but their main strength lies in their hunting local game and bow making. The village is where the Forester family resides. Thornhill could be argued to be a town and consists of many farms and bakeries. Many across the border come to trade there. Eastfort is very much a fort which has over time turned into a village around the fort. Watched over by the Castle family. The region borders the The Khein Dynasty and shares half of the Riverwoods with the Redmond region. The Riverwoods is a risky place to venture through as it is home to many rebels, criminals and other bad folk. It is also home to many druids who fine shelter within those woods, they are generally known for their pacifist ways of living however many tales of their retaliation over wrong doings is well known. They are best left alone. |
EastfortThe
first line of defense against a possible invasion from the east.
Eastfort is a heavily defended fort and has become even more defended
after the defeat across the border. People have settled outside of the
walls and a community has been established consisting of travellers and
merchants alike. Keeping the fort safe comes first which has led to some
people to be treated harshly when they get too close to cause discord
around the defenses. The fort and the people living in the area are
under the watch and rule of the Castle family. Places of interest.
| ThornhillWhen
people ask about wine the majority of people in Rivermond would think
of Thornhill and their wineyards. With the town being located so close
to the deserts of the Dynasty they get warm winds coming through their
green hills and lands making it perfect for farms to operate wineyards
throughout the year. They have many wine experts from the Dominion and
the Dynasty coming to Thornhill to import and export their wares. They
also farm other types of food however wine is their main business. The
town is ran by the Wilds family which is one of the oldest families within Rivermond. Places of interest. |
BaymountDespite
its small size Baymount is well protected with stone walls and gate.
People who live here have turned their homes into shops for travellers
who come through. It is a small and close community where everyone knows
each other and the Quinn
family rules the port and the surrounding area with a gentle approach.
The port is small however they are able to dock decent sized ship if
needed, otherwise its mostly small fishing boats that come in and out of
Baymount. Places of interest. | SeacliffSeacliff is a small and beautiful place where everyone works together, the Forester
family runs things carefully but still with strict discipline. The
majority there have gone through basic training with spears and swords
so that they can defend their homes and families whenever the Forester's
are away. And almost everyone would be considered skilled with a bow,
it is their strongest export from Seacliff. Their longbows are among the
best in all of Rivermond and the introduction of firearms have put
worry in many people of Seacliff. Places of interest. |
