The town of Oakheart is the home of the Mountainbreaker family and many other descendants from Kalamar. The town and nearby places like Honeyfair are have Kalamar architecture and are very different from the rest of Rivermond. The town is fortified with wooden walls and has guards on high alert. The people are not keen on having the Dominus Chain near their homes.

  • The Firegiant: The local forge and armory shop, run by the dragonborn Fyren Ashenscale, human Ivar Hammerson, and dwarf Narla Shieldheart. They create and repair all sorts of weapons and armor for adventurers and the town's guard alike. The forge also produces intricate metalwork for decorative and practical purposes.

  • Ivan's Butchery: he local source for fresh meat, run by the half-orc Ivan. The butchery provides high-quality meat for the town's inns and taverns and also offers cured meats for travelers.

  • The Mountain Inn: The Mountain Inn is owned and operated by the human innkeeper Gillian Redson. It is a welcoming place for travelers to rest and refuel before continuing their journey. The inn offers comfortable rooms, good food, and a warm hearth.

  • The Eastern Fabic: A small shop owned and operated by Lady Shmii. It is a source of fine fabrics and sewing supplies for the people of Oakheart and the surrounding area. The shop also provides custom tailoring services.

  • Ester's Hunting Lodge: A community lodge for local hunters to store their tools and weapons or to rest after a long day in the woods. The lodge is run by Ester, an experienced hunter and tracker who provides guidance and training to those who seek it.

  • Mountainbreaker Estate: The home of the local lord, Craig Mountainbreaker. The estate is a sturdy longhouse that is well defended, with a strong wall and watchtower. Lord Mountainbreaker is a stern but fair ruler who takes the safety and prosperity of his town seriously. He maintains a small army of well-trained soldiers who are always ready to defend the town from any threat.
