Grimstorm is an imposing fortress located in the Land of House Tusk, a province in the northern parts of the Silver Dominion. It was originally built by the Kalamar people as a defensive stronghold against their enemies, and later passed into the hands of the Tusk family after they pledged their allegiance to the Dominion.

The fortress is built atop a rocky outcropping next to a large river, offering commanding views of the surrounding wilderness. It is surrounded by a deep moat, and its walls are made of thick stone blocks, reinforced with iron bars and plates. At its heart lies the keep, a tall tower that serves as the residence of the lord of Grimstorm and his family. The keep is also where the soldiers and officers of the garrison are housed, along with the armory, the treasury, and the prison. The fortress has seen many battles and sieges over the centuries, and its walls bear the scars of cannon fire, arrow volleys, and battering rams. It has also withstood the ravages of time and weather, thanks to the careful maintenance and repairs carried out by House Tusk.

Grimstorm is currently the most important defensive bastions of the region, guarding its borders against raiders, barbarians, and other threats from the north. It is home to a garrison of several hundred soldiers, led by experienced officers who have honed their skills in the harsh conditions of the Neverending Badlands. The soldiers are equipped with a mix of traditional Kalamar and Dominion weapons and armor.

Despite its formidable reputation, Grimstorm is not invincible, and it has faced many challenges over the years. The harsh climate of the Neverending Badlands can be a formidable foe, with blizzards, thunderstorms and other natural disasters capable of wreaking havoc on the fortress and its inhabitants. Moreover, the fortress is vulnerable to sabotage, espionage, and other forms of subterfuge, and House Tusk must remain ever vigilant to protect its interests and its people.
