This quill is made of fine silver with a sapphire inlaid on its tip. It comes with a small leather-bound journal. When the quill writes on a page of the journal, the text is magically copied onto another page in another identical journal, no matter the distance. Both journals must have been previously prepared and attuned to each other through a special ritual that requires the presence of both journals and the quill.

Limitations: The user needs to be aware of the location of the other journal and have a general sense of direction to make sure the writing is copied to the correct journal. The attunement process is time-consuming and requires special knowledge and skills. If one journal is lost or destroyed, the connection between the journals is lost, and the quill becomes useless until a new set of identical journals is attuned.
