Didric Eisenhorn

Young Lord, Son of Ivon
NPC, Noble

Didric Eisenhorn was born as the youngest son of Ivon and Josselyn of Bullholm. He was born with a keen mind and a natural curiosity, often asking questions and seeking knowledge. Growing up, he was always in awe of his older brother Jacov, who was set to inherit their father's lordship. Didric, on the other hand, felt like he didn't quite fit into the traditional role of a lord's son. As a child, Didric was often seen with his nose buried in books, reading about history, strategy and tactics. He was fascinated by the stories of great battles and heroic figures of the past. Despite his love for books, Didric was not afraid to get his hands dirty. He would often accompany his father and brother on hunts and training sessions, honing his own skills with the sword and bow.

Unlike his brother Jacov, Didric did not feel the weight of expectation on his shoulders. He saw himself as free to choose his own path in life, unconstrained by tradition or obligations. This freedom, however, came with its own set of challenges. Didric often struggled with finding a sense of purpose or direction in his life. He knew he was expected to serve his family and the Baron, but he yearned for something more. Despite his struggles, Didric remained close with his family, especially his mother Josselyn, who he shared a special bond with. She encouraged his love of learning and often gave him books as gifts. Didric saw her as a guiding light in his life, and often sought her advice and guidance.

As he grew older, Didric's love for history and strategy only intensified. He spent many hours studying maps, battle plans and military tactics. He dreamed of one day leading armies to victory and becoming a great military commander. However, he knew that he had much to learn before he could achieve his ambitions. Didric's relationship with his older brother Jacov was complicated. While he looked up to him and admired his martial prowess, he also felt a sense of rivalry and competition. He often felt overshadowed by Jacov's accomplishments and struggled to find his own identity outside of his brother's shadow. Despite this, he loved his brother and respected him deeply, knowing that he would one day be his liege lord.
