Dominion Crazed Paladin

Humanoid

The Dominion Crazed Paladin was once a member of the Dominus Chain, an order of holy knights dedicated to the faith of the Silver Prince. However, during a mission, they were cursed with premonitions of doom and destruction. These visions drove them to the brink of insanity, and they were deemed too dangerous to be allowed to roam free. Instead, the Crazed Paladin are locked away in isolation, where they are periodically brought out and thrown into battle. Two longswords are chained to their arms, making them a formidable, albeit unpredictable, force on the battlefield.

Despite their madness, the Crazed Paladin retains their training and skill in combat, and they are a fearsome opponent. They fight with reckless abandon, attacking anything that moves, and often ignoring their own wounds in the process. Their unique fighting style, with two chained swords, is both a strength and a weakness. On one hand, they are able to dish out a tremendous amount of damage in a short amount of time, and their relentless attacks can overwhelm even the most skilled opponent. On the other hand, the chained swords limit their range of movement and make them vulnerable to attacks from a distance.

Overall, the Dominion Crazed Paladin is a tragic figure, consumed by madness and driven to fight until their inevitable end.

Potential Loot

  1. Cursed Longsword: This cursed weapon appears to be a typical longsword, but upon closer inspection, the blade seems to glow with a sickly green light. Any creature struck by this sword must make a Wisdom saving throw or suffer a temporary bout of madness.

  2. Symbol of Dominion: A holy symbol of the deity that the Paladin once worshiped. This small piece of jewelry may be worth a significant sum to a collector, but it may also be useful to someone who wishes to turn the Paladin back to the path of righteousness.

  3. Ornate Platemail: Despite the Paladin's current state, their armor remains well-crafted and ornate. This platemail may fetch a high price for collectors or adventurers looking for a sturdy suit of armor.

  4. Tome of Divine Knowledge: A small book containing passages from the Paladin's holy texts. While it may not be useful to those who do not worship the same deity, it may be valuable to scholars or religious leaders.

  5. Gold and Gemstones: The Paladin's former wealth may be found in their pockets or stashed away somewhere on their person. This may include gold coins or valuable gemstones.

  6. Potion of Greater Healing: This potion can heal significant wounds and may be useful to adventurers who have sustained injuries. It may be found in the Paladin's possession or in their stash of supplies.
