Karina Kaiser was born and raised in the town of Falktown, within the Greenfield barony. From a young age, she was fascinated by animals and spent most of her childhood exploring the nearby woods and fields. She quickly discovered her talent in handling horses and soon became an expert in training and breeding them. Her father, a wealthy merchant, recognized her talent and invested heavily in her education. As Karina grew older, she became increasingly interested in more exotic animals. She started to study the art of animal handling and befriended the local gryphons that the local Knights owns. She spent countless hours observing and studying these magnificent creatures, eventually earning their trust and respect.
Karina's twin sister, Katja, on the other hand, was fascinated by magic and decided to travel to the Arcane Academy to study the arcane arts. This left Karina feeling somewhat left behind, but she soon found solace in her animals. She began to work with the local gryphon breeders and soon became an expert in maintaining and training these majestic beasts. Despite her love for animals, Karina's parents are pushing her to find a suitable husband and settle down. They are worried that her fascination with animals will prevent her from finding a suitable match. However, Karina remains stubborn and has refused all suitors so far, determined to focus on her work with the gryphons and other animals.
Karina's skill in animal handling has made her a valuable asset to her family and the people of Falktown. She often provides mounts and trained animals for local merchants and travelers passing through town. Her expertise has even caught the attention of Nikolay Von Keiner, who have requested her services in maintaining his own mounts. Despite the pressure from her parents to marry and settle down, Karina remains determined to follow her passion for animals and continue her work with the gryphons. She hopes to one day discover new techniques in animal handling and become known as a master of her craft.
Her Mount and Companion.
Karina's personal mount and companion is a majestic gryphon named Falke. As an egg, Falke was a beautiful ivory color with golden flecks, but as he grew, his featherd crest gradually turned a rich russet hue with black tips. Karina has raised him since he was a hatchling, and they share an unbreakable bond. Falke is a magnificent creature, with razor-sharp talons that can rend armor and flesh alike. He is fiercely loyal to Karina, and will stop at nothing to protect her from harm. When they ride out into the countryside, Falke's keen eyes scanning the landscape for any potential threats. Karina trusts him implicitly.
Despite his fearsome appearance, Falke has a gentle side, and is a devoted companion to Karina. She often spends hours grooming him, and he enjoys nothing more than nuzzling her with his beak and rubbing his head against her chest. When they are not out adventuring, they can often be found curled up together in Karina's chambers, sleeping soundly in each other's company.
