Caldorn or the land of House Cal, situated in the southern reaches of the Silver Dominion, is a region of both peace and perpetual vigilance. As one of the two southernmost regions, it shares a border with the neighboring land of Rivermond, and House Cal plays a vital role in safeguarding the main trade route that traverses the two countries. Renowned for their commitment to diplomacy and maintaining harmonious relations, House Cal acts as the bridge between the Silver Dominion and Rivermond, facilitating the flow of commerce and fostering diplomatic ties.

The heart of the region is the Calgard, a bustling center of trade and politics. Situated upon the mighty Gylder River, which flows through Rivermond into the Silver Dominion, the city attracts a steady stream of nobles and wealthy merchants who cross the border for business and political affairs. Calgard serves as a hub for commerce, where goods from both within the Dominion and from Rivermond are exchanged, enriching the region's economy and solidifying House Cal's prominence as skilled negotiators and shrewd traders.

Continuing up the Gylder River, one encounters the town of Caltown, a settlement established by the Cal family ages ago. Originally intended to segregate the lowborn from the noble city, Caltown has evolved into a thriving community of skilled artisans, fishermen, and stable owners. The town's residents have honed their crafts away from the bustling City of Cal, carving their own niche in the regional economy. Despite its humble beginnings, Caltown now boasts a reputation for producing exquisite artworks, abundant seafood, and well-bred steeds.

Further upstream lies the village of Oakenville, situated on the eastern bank of the Gylder River. However, their livelihood is often threatened by the presence of Doomfyre Wyverns, fierce winged creatures that inhabit the surrounding area. On the banks of the river, further up from Oakenville, lies the village of Mudtown. Known for its modest means and humble inhabitants, Mudtown represents the poorest area in the region. House Cal, recognizing the vulnerability of this village, makes efforts to send patrols for protection. On the western side of Caldorn lies the expansive Cal Woods, which stretch along the border with Rivermond. These woods are named in honor of House Cal, who hold exclusive hunting rights within the forest.
