Attunement:
To attune to Avalorn, one must spend a long rest meditating near a natural source of water, such as a river or lake, reflecting on the ideals of honor, valor, and righteousness. This process allows the wielder to form a bond with the divine essence of the blade.
Special Abilities:
- Divine Blade: Avalorn grants a +3 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon.
- Sacred Strike: When you hit a fiend or undead with Avalorn, that creature takes an extra 2d10 radiant damage.
- River's Grace: While attuned to Avalorn, the wielder gains the ability to cast Water Walk and Create or Destroy Water at will, without expending spell slots.
- Purifying Waters: As an action, you can use Avalorn to cast Lesser Restoration or Greater Restoration (using the wielder's spell slots if necessary). Once you use this feature, you cannot use it again until the next dawn.
- Beacon of Righteousness: Avalorn can be used as a spellcasting focus for spells that have the Holy symbol requirement. Additionally, you can use an action to cause Avalorn to shed bright light in a 30-foot radius and dim light for an additional 30 feet. The light is sunlight.
