Ratfolk Dreadnought

Humanoid, Ratfolk

The Ratfolk Dreadnought is a nightmarish creation that stands as a testament to the twisted genius of the Ratfolk's most ambitious artificers and alchemists. Born from a fusion of dark magic and advanced machinery, the Dreadnought is more machine than living creature. The process of creating a Dreadnought is an unholy ritual, involving the binding of a Rat Ogre's soul to a massive steam engine that becomes the central core of the construct. The Rat Ogre's body is then extensively augmented and replaced with mechanized limbs, turning it into a hulking metal monstrosity.

Once completed, the Dreadnought towers over its Ratfolk creators and instills terror in any who dare to lay eyes upon it. Its hulking form is adorned with thick, rusted plates of metal, and its crimson eyes burn with an eerie malevolence. Steam billows from its joints, and the ground trembles with every step it takes.

The Dreadnought's immense power lies in its mechanized claw and bladed drill, both of which can effortlessly tear through armor and flesh alike. The mechanized claw can crush opponents with deadly force, while the bladed drill can pierce through the toughest defenses with ease. The steam engine on its back not only empowers its attacks but also grants the Dreadnought enhanced mobility and endurance, making it a relentless and unstoppable force on the battlefield.

The Ratfolk Dreadnought is fiercely loyal to its creator, obeying their every command without question. They have become legends among the Ratfolk, feared and revered for their mastery of dark arts and their ability to create such nightmarish constructs. Other races view the Dreadnought with a mix of awe and terror, for it represents the darkest potential of the Ratfolk's ingenuity and ambition.

Despite its immense power, the Dreadnought has its weaknesses. Its heavy, metal frame makes it slower and less agile than its living counterparts. Additionally, the steam engine that empowers it is vulnerable to damage, and if it is disabled, the Dreadnought's power and mobility are significantly reduced. However, facing a Dreadnought is a daunting challenge, and only the bravest or most foolish of foes would dare to stand against this nightmarish creation of the Ratfolk's darkest minds.
