Raised as a lone orphan at the Cathedral of Oxton, Vorkis is dedicated to The Word of the Silver Prince. As a child, he was an outcast among the normal folk of The Dominion. However, when adulthood called, he joined the men and women of The Stormshields, the protectors of the City of Enghilm. He was not highly regarded due to his inherent rage and appearance, but whenever he was needed for battle, he answered the call and aided his fellows in defending Enghilm.
After many years of dedicated service, he was finally afforded a brief respite from his duty. With his temporary freedom, he aimed to satisfy his wanderlust and traveled to a vassal state of The Dominion, choosing Rivermond.
Following the events at Hillburg, where he quelled an ancient threat and brought word to The Dominus Chain, he returned with some honor to his homeland in Enghilm. However, it wasn't long before he was deployed to the front lines to continue the fight.
