Attunement:
To attune to the Shield of Ego, a character must spend a short rest focusing on the shield and performing a special ritual. During this time, they become increasingly absorbed in thoughts of their own importance, culminating in a narcissistic mindset upon attunement. When attuned to this shield, it enhances the wearer's defensive capabilities, making them significantly harder to hit.

Curse Effect:
The bearer of the Shield of Ego becomes increasingly self-centered. They prioritize their own safety above all else, often to the detriment of their comrades. The shield instills a sense of invincibility, leading the user to recklessly disregard the well-being of others. This self-centeredness affects the character's social interactions, making them appear arrogant and dismissive.

When making any Charisma based checks or social interactions, the bearer of the shield suffers a -4 penalty. Their inflated ego makes them appear arrogant and dismissive in the eyes of others.
