Attunement:

To attune to the Reflective Shield, a creature must spend a short rest holding the shield and reflecting on its protective and reflective properties. Once attuned, the wearer can harness the shield's unique abilities as described above.

Special Features:

• Armor Class Bonus: While holding this shield, you have a +2 bonus to your AC.
• Reflective Gaze: If a creature uses an action or trait that requires it to gaze at you to affect you, such as Petrifying Gaze or Frightening Gaze, you can use your reaction to force the creature to see its own reflection in the shield. The creature must then make a saving throw against its own gaze effect, as if it were the target. This ability can be used once per short rest.
• Light Redirection: The mirrored surface can redirect light. You can use an action to aim the shield to reflect light in a specific direction, illuminating dark areas or creating blinding reflections to obscure vision. This effect can be used to create advantage or disadvantage on perception checks involving sight within a 30-foot range.
