Contract Permit: Guildhall

Bastion Facility

A Guildhall serves as the heart of your guild, where you are the guild master. The facility includes a meeting room adorned with wall banners depicting the guild’s symbol, providing a space for members to discuss important matters in your presence.

You choose the type of guild from the options in the Sample Guilds table, or collaborate with your DM to create a new guild. Your guild consists of approximately fifty members who are skilled individuals living and working in nearby settlements.

Recruit Order:

Each time you issue the Recruit order to this facility, you can commission one or more guild members to perform a special assignment. Each guild specifies the nature of that assignment, as outlined in the Sample Guilds table below. With your DM’s permission, you can create new assignments for guild members.

Adventurers’ Guild
Send adventurers to track down a Beast (CR 2 or lower) within 50 miles. They slay or capture it in 1d6 + 1 days. If slain and you have a Trophy Room, you can add a trophy. If captured and you have a Menagerie, you can add the creature if there’s space.
Bakers’ Guild
Assign bakers to create baked goods for an upcoming event in 7 days. You can receive 500 GP or a favor owed by the host (details agreed upon with DM).
Brewers’ Guild
Assign brewers to deliver 50 barrels of ale to your Bastion in 7 days. Sell for 10 GP each.
Cartographers’ Guild
Assign cartographers to create a map in 7 days, or pay 500 GP to procure a map of a known adventure location (if it exists).
Entertainers’ Guild
Assign entertainers to create a work of art in 7 days. The work gains recognition but has no monetary value, with potential value accruing after your death (DM's discretion).
Jewelers’ Guild
Assign jewelers to craft a gemstone or piece of jewelry worth up to 1,000 GP in 7 days, paying half the item's cost in raw materials.
Masons’ Guild
Assign masons to build a defensive wall for your Bastion at no cost, or perform work for another character’s Bastion within 1 mile. Each 5-foot square takes 1 day to build.
Shipbuilders’ Guild
Assign shipbuilders to construct a waterborne vehicle from the Player’s Handbook. Pay full cost, with work taking 1 day per 1,000 GP of the vehicle’s cost.
Thieves’ Guild
Assign thieves to infiltrate a location within 50 miles and steal a nonmagical object (max size of a 5-foot cube), delivered in 1d6 + 1 days. A white key is left behind. This may risk retaliation from law enforcement.

Usage:

This permit allows you to establish a Guildhall in your Bastion, enabling you to leverage the skills and resources of guild members to carry out various tasks and gain advantages in your campaign.
