Silver Ridge is a small farming town on the edge of the border between The New Frontier and The Cursed Lands. The town was settled in this location because it seemed to be out of the way and allowed the farmers to avoid trouble.
Recently however, the Primbold family discovered a large source of Ectin just minutes from the town. They tried to keep their mining operations quiet, but somehow word must have gotten out, because lately the Shunt Mining Company have been trying to forcefully claim the mine.
The people of Silver Ridge are peaceful and in dire straits due to the recent murder of their sheriff by the Shunt Mining Company.
