867-5309-777-9311 nick named "Rust Bucket" or "Rust" is an old robot that roams the outskirts of town near the sheriff Carter's Home. The 90-year-old robot was the former companion of Rafael Hernández the previous owner of the Carter farmstead. The farmstead stood empty for decades up until the arrival of Sheriff Carter and to this day Rust has continued to perform menial task to maintain the farm while at the same time avoiding contact with the people of normal. Rust presence has lent credence to town's rumors of the farm being haunted.
Rust design is based on a larger industrial model, and he was designed to manage menial tasks in and around the home. What it gave up in bulk and raw power of the large industry robots is made up for with an upgrade in fine manipulation, integrated tools and a friendly user interface. His model has long since been retired in place of robots with lighter frames using more purpose-built designs.
