Before The Reveal, Tuinn worked as an aid for village planning and construction in Truetopia. The work involved the movement of people and heavy objects over longer distances. Grunt work suited her somewhat quiet persona, "A strong, silent type" people called her. After The Reveal, however, the purpose for this work became muddied. For what purpose was construction if it were to be modified by hands and powers not our own? Was her very job worthless in the face of greater powers? This shook Tuinn to her very core, leading her to hide away as she processed the meaning of anything, especially her own purpose. During this time, Tuinn discovered and honed a gift for playing the dulcimer, which provided an outlet for creativity and a sense of purpose as a person. To extract beauty, even from mere sound, in the face of seeming worthlessness, is in itself a comfort, if not its own act of rebellion.
