Bowen Adair was Born to Kenrith Adair and an unknown mother. This does, in fact, make him a half-sibling of Kiora and Ferelith Adair. As soon as he was eligible, Bowen was sent to the now High Groves to begin his tutelage into all things arcane. While things initially went well, Bowen eventually sought out mastering dark forces with the help of a childhood friend. Calamity struck and Bowen found himself with the death of his friend on his hands and a creature of darkest myth hunting him. He left his studies behind and struck out into the wider realm. Things were not all bad, eventually meeting with the people who would eventually become the Teanga Beithir. A poorly planned assault on a secret Fomorii fortification might have changed that, however. Bowen died in the attempt, but was saved from death by the hands of his friends and allies.
They arrived, some years later, into the mortal realms to find the invasion fully underway. From there he aided the Teanga Beithir in finding the Eye of Balor, an artifact the Fomorii would use to level unheard of damage to the mortal realms. During this quest he struck a deal with a great devil and eventually paid for it in blood at the Crown of MUL-ANU where the devil demanded Bowen find him a point of entry, thus bringing to its peak a thousand years of devilish machinations that ended in the slaughter of many.
He atoned for this misdeed, once again meeting up with the Teanga Beithir, and helping to form a core of warriors and mages in the Inisan Coalition. With their help, Bowen aided in the recapturing of Ynis-Gwysrin, Mannan Port and other settlements. Having done this, slain the creature stalking him and finding his father, Bowen turns his sights to creating the Stormblades. A faction of martial and magical warriors to safeguard the Grim Countries in a way the High and Sacred Groves will not.
