The Dran Myhk of Coerthas Western Highlands are a mysterious and dangerous tribe of shape-shifters with control over the elements of ice and the mist that shrouds their lands. They are said to have pale white hair and glowing green eyes. Markedly, local tales speak also of their connection with the dead.
Despite their whimsical and inhuman nature, Dran Myhk are highly curious about the outside world and often interact with men, as does their draconic patron Ratatoskr. Often, dealings with them can be dangerous. Merchants who travel through their lands warn of their lack of conventional morals and unpredictable nature. Dran Myhk see themselves apart from the laws and morals of the mortal world, and their actions are guided by their own strange and inscrutable desires.
The Dran Myhk are led by a council of elders who possess mastery over their shapes and shapes of others and are responsible for guiding the tribe. The elders are known for their ability to call forth blizzards and manipulate the mists at will, as well as cast unpredictable, longtime curses and boons they bestow upon mortals at a whim.
In battle, Dran Myhk are a fearsome force, using their shape-shifting abilities, ice and mist magics to confuse and defeat their enemies. They are known for their mastery over the arcane and the ability to conjure powerful blizzards that can freeze their opponents solid.
Despite their dangerous and unpredictable nature, Dran Myhk are respected in Coerthas Western Highlands for their control over the elements and connection with the dead. They are seen as protectors of the forest and keepers of the balance between life and death; Dran Myhk festivals are eagerly attended by people from all walks of life. However, those who cross them or incur their wrath do so at their own peril, as Dran Myhk are not above using their powers to eliminate those who threaten their sovereignty or way of life.
