Tohka Lyegha

Wyra's oldest child and only daughter. She often took care of her younger brothers when they were growing up while her mother hunted. She loved them all dearly, constantly giving up her own food portion to the little ones to make up for Wyra'to's theft and bullying. He refused to listen to her when she called him out on it.

Food was always rough due to the fact that Wyra refused to follow the rules of the Trapper League. They had to be very careful with their hunting patterns and the result was that food was scarce. Their family was saved from starvation more than once by a male Moonkeeper come with offerings to see their mother.

After her daughter was born, Tohka realized that this wasn't sustainable anymore. Even though Wyra'to had long left the home by that point, there was still barely enough food to go around. Wyara's belly was constantly rumbling. Her child's father, an elezen trapper named Antoine, took her by the hands one night and begged her to leave with him. Gridania wasn't much of a home for their daughter, he was well aware, but he had family not too far from Summerford Farms, in La Noscea. They could live that way and raise her together.

The proposal was very strange to Tohka; she certainly didn't know her own father, she didn't know any Moonkeepers who did. It simply wasn't necessary for a child to grow up with her father. Something about it felt very strange, even. On the other hand, La Noscea probably had food. Enough food to feed her daughter without living in fear that she'd be snatched from her arms for it. It was a difficult decision that she many sleepless days and nights considering.

Finally, one night. She left their home with her daughter on her back, under the pretense that she was taking Rinha to the hunt so she could learn early. And just like that, she was gone and never came home.

Life with Antoine in La Noscea was difficult to adjust to, to say the least. Living with a man who wasn't her brother was even more difficult to adjust to. She insisted on doing all the care for her daughter and more or less shut him out in the early days, much to Antoine's frustration. Taking care of the children wasn't a man's job, why did he insist on trying to do it? She couldn't understand it. In the beginning, he had to beg Tohka to let him at least hold his own child. She eventually relented, but watched him like a hawk.

Somehow, they managed to make it work and got to a spot where they were comfortable and not butting heads on living arrangements and childcare. They even had a second daughter, Tilluh. Though unlike Rinha, Tilluh didn't quite inherit Antoine's features. Particularly his ears; Rinha's ears sat far too low on her head and she often struggled to hear things that her sister had no problem with. Both girls are abnormally tall for their age, however.
