Thun never wanted to be a woodwarder, hell, he would have much rather of been a woman - he often gets mistake for one outside of his mountain home, anyway. He was never one for the traditions of his home. He especially did not like being forced into semi-isolation in the woods and being expected to protect the village for the next 250 years. After only a decade in service, he had enough. He decided to leave. He made the stupid decision of telling his twin sister, who insisted she was coming along. He lost that battle, and the two of them left their mountain home.
Not long after leaving they were ambushed and captured by Dalmascan traffikers. His sister was shipped off to Alenard and he escaped halfway to where ever they were taking him.
He traveled in whatever way he could, which ended up being North through Nagxia. He spent several years in the country. Fighting with its people. His training to protect too strong for him to not. Along the way he got cheeky with Castrum Viride. His hand and shoulder ended up being a chew toy for a couple of Canius Pugnax. His shoulder recovered, but his hand had to be amputated.
A man who only knew archery had to do what he needed to survive. He got his hands on a Gunbreaker soulstone, which thankfully really can be done with one hand, and continued on his path to... somewhere.
He eventually ended up in Kugane where he was able to buy a -very expensive- prosthetic hand. He's got his hand back, but now he has to pay it back in installments. He currently holds a job as a repair/ maintenance man at a adventuring Inn in Shirogane. On the side, he picks up odd adventuring jobs, typically choosing those that allow him to work alone or in small groups. He spends his days trying figure out what to do with all this time he has and how to make this DAMN NUB stop hurting.
